Rolex Coup

This project required a lot of improvisation due to the client’s very short-term assignment.

In addition to filming select footage, I handled the entire post-production process.
My contributions included writing the interview script (with some input from the client), recording the interviews, capturing shots of the watches and various scenes around the city, and editing the full video.
I also took care of blurring all visible logos in shop windows (which, admittedly, wasn’t the most fun part), added some visual effects, performed color correction and grading, and created animations and motion graphics.
On top of that, I recorded the voice-over and composed the entire soundtrack from scratch.

One of the most prominent German men’s outfitters and Youtubers, Marc Gebauer, reacted to our short documentary!

This short documentary thoroughly explains the processes behind the campaign. I was completely in charge of post-production, including the script, editing, animation, music, voice-over, and subtitles.

Shedding more light on the upcoming short documentary, the trailer captured the viewers’ attention not only with fancy editing but also by including screenshots of press headlines.

A quick but impactful teaser for the short documentary “Rolex Coup”. I did the editing, animations and sound design myself.
